1. Are reservations required?
~ In order to ensure a preferred display, a reservation is highly recommended. Payment is required to hold all reservations.
* For New Baby Displays, we will be glad to hold a reservation for the 2 days prior to and following the baby's due date. Personalization information can be given when we call to confirm delivery*
2. Can I order a Lawn Greetings Display on short notice?
~Certainly! We will do our best to accommodate you in any way we can!
3. How and when is payment due?
~ Payment for rentals is due in full when we call to confirm your order. Reservations cannot be held without payment.
4. What methods of payment are accepted?
~ We accept PayPal as well as Visa, MasterCard, American Express & Discover. Personal checks will only be accepted if received and cleared at least 48 hours prior to scheduled delivery. * there will be a $30 fee for all returned checks.
~Payment arrangements will be made when we call to confirm the rental.
5. What is included in a Lawn Greeting Rental?
~ A Message Board Display consists of a 4'x5' message board with the message of your choice & your choice of critters (20-30) which are scattered on the lawn! Choose from our commonly used phrases or order a custom message. *Please allow 2 weeks for all custom requests* Check out or Critters Page for choices. If you don't see what you were looking for, let us know & we will do our best to make it happen! Keepsakes are not included in this rental but can be purchased for an additional $20. Choose from over a dozen different keepsakes to compliment any personality!
~ A New Baby Stork Display consists of a 6', hand made, hand painted, Stork sign along with 6 adorable baby bottle critters! A personalized cloud keepsake is included with all New Baby Displays. Sibling keepsakes are available for an additional $20 & make a GREAT gift for the proud new Big Brother or Big Sister! Choose from over a dozen different keepsakes to fit any child's personality!
~ A Birthday Cake Display consists of a nearly 7', hand made, hand painted Birthday Cake sign for either the Birthday Boy or Girl along with 8 festive balloon critters! A personalized keepsake is included with all Birthday Cake Sign rentals, choose from over a dozen different designs to compliment any child's personality!
~ We are constantly looking for new ideas for our displays! If you have somehting in mind, please let us know and we will do our BEST to make it happen for you! Hey, if we love it............. we'll even take $10 off your next rental!
6. What information is needed for personalized keepsakes?
~ New Baby keepsakes are personalized with baby's first & middle name, date of birth, weight & length. Sibling keepsakes are personalized with "Big Brother/Sister" in addition to child's first name. Middle name can be added by request at no additional charge. "Big Brother/Sister" can be left out if requested as well.
7. Can I rent a A New Baby Display for a Baby Shower?
~Absolutely! What a great way to let family & friends know exactly where the celebration is!
*Baby shower signs are 1 day rentals & do not include a keepsake. *
8. Is there a delivery charge?
~ In rare cases, yes. It depends on the proximity to our location. Delivery is free within a 25 mile radius to to the Suffolk/Nassau border. Due to increasing gas prices, our deliverly charge will be $5 per mile for each mile over the initial 25 mile radius up to 55 miles . If you have any questions, please feel free to give us a call @ 516-586-5595
~For example: If your location is 35 miles from Farmingdale N.Y, the delivery charge would be $5 x 10 miles over our 25 mile radius. The total delivery charge would be $50.~
* PLEASE NOTE: For delivery to QUEENS OR BROOKLYN, there is a $50 delivery fee.
9. When do you deliver & pick up?
~We usually deliver & pick up our displays either between the hours of 9am & 2pm or 6pm & 11pm. Fpr surprise displays, we typically delivery between the hours of 11pm & 2am.
~We can deliver 365 days a year! Even in the snow!
~ If we will be closed for any reason, it will be noted on our website. If this occurs, we recommend that you visit Flamingoed.com for other Lawn Greeters in your area!
10. Does someone have to be home for delivery or pick up?
~No one needs to be home. We will leave a goody bag with information, a small gift and a card letting them know who this GREAT gift was from!
11. Where do you leave the keepsake after removing the display?
~ When we remove our display, we will place the keepsake in a bag and leave it at the front door, unless another location on the property has been requested.
12. How BIG are your signs?
~ Our Message Board is 4'x5' and is elevated off the ground approximmately 1'. This is a GREAT way to show someone your appreciation, love, support or congratulations for ANY occasion!
~ Our New Baby Stork sign stands at over 6' tall and he is dressed in his Daddy's oversized top hat & tie ready to announce the newest addition to the family!
~ Our Birthday Cake signs stand at just shy of 7' tall and are the perfect way to let family & friends know where the Party is! The kid's will LOVE for the world (well, at least the neighborhood) to know that it is their special day!
13. How are displays set up?
~ We use a metal post that is driven into the ground to support our beautiful, sturdy signs!
WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO AVOID SPRINKLER SYSTEMS, HOWEVER, WE CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE CAUSED TO SPRINKLER SYSTEMS OR UNDERGROUND UTILITIES.
14. Can I move the display?
~ If you would like the display to be relocated, please let us know as soon as possible, we will be glad to move it for you. A delivery fee may apply each time we come to move the display.
WE CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO PERSON OR PROPERTY AS A RESULT OF MOVING A DISPLAY.
15. Can I mow or water my lawn?
~ We do ask that you please refrain from mowing or trimming near our displays as this may cause damage. We have worked very hard creating these beautiful signs & consider them to be a precious part of our family!
~ Watering is perfectly fine!
16. What happens if the dispay is stolen, broken, or damaged in any way?
~ PLEASE contact us immediately! All displays are the sole property of Heaven Sent Storks and More. If any part of the display is stolen, or there is damage done that could result in our inability to fullfill orders, it is the responsibility of the party who ordered the rental to replace it.
I know our critters are cute!! However, PLEASE resist the urge to keep one! If you would like one, you may be able to purchase one for a small fee (usually between $10 - $15, depending on the critter), just ask us & we will be happy to get you a new, unused one!
VERY IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!
PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN TO PLAY OR CLIMB ON OR AROUND OUR DISPLAYS AS THIS MAY CAUSE HARM. WE CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR INJURY OR DAMAGE TO PERSON OR PROPERTY DUE TO CHILDREN PLAYING NEAR OR WITH OUR DISPLAYS! OUR SIGNS ARE FOR DECORATION ONLY, ALTHOUGH CHILDREN MAY BE TEMPTED TO PLAY WITH OUR CRITTERS AND SIGNS, THEY ARE NOT TOYS.

REFUND POLICY:
You WILL receive a full refund if:
You will NOT receive a refund if:

The homeowner stops us from setting up the display.

The homeowner calls us requesting that the display be removed.

We are given LESS than 24 hours notice to cancel the order.

We are given the wrong address.

We cannot set up the display because of a gated community that will not allow us access.

The homeowner has a dog, or other agitated animal loose on the property that will not let us set up our display safely.

Any other reason we cannot set up the display that is beyond our control.

The personalization information that was given is incorrect. If WE have made an error, please call us and we will be happy to correct it.
